DBSE Transportation
Terms & Conditions
The terms governing use of the DBSE Transportation website and courier services.
1. About DBSE Transportation
DBSE Transportation (DBSE, we, us, or our) is a courier and delivery service operating from St. Louis, Missouri. DBSE provides courier and transportation services to individuals, businesses, professional organizations, and other customers.
2. Website Use
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. DBSE may restrict or terminate access where it reasonably believes the website is being misused.
- Do not use the website for fraud or unlawful activity.
- Do not submit false or misleading information.
- Do not attempt unauthorized access or interfere with website security.
- Do not introduce malicious software or code.
- Do not impersonate another person or organization.
- Do not submit information you do not have the right to provide.
3. Delivery Requests
Submitting a request does not automatically create a confirmed booking. Requests are subject to availability, locations, package characteristics, timing, operational requirements, applicable charges, and DBSE acceptance. A delivery is confirmed only after DBSE communicates confirmation to the customer.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate pickup and delivery addresses, recipient details, package descriptions, size information, handling instructions, and any other information reasonably needed to complete the delivery. DBSE is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
5. Packaging
Customers are responsible for appropriately packaging items before pickup unless DBSE has agreed to provide packaging services. Packages should be sealed, suitable for transportation, clearly identified where necessary, and protected against reasonably foreseeable damage during ordinary transportation. DBSE may refuse inadequately packaged items where transportation could create a risk.
6. Prohibited Items
Customers must not request DBSE to transport unlawful, dangerous, hazardous, or prohibited items. DBSE may refuse, stop, or return a delivery if it reasonably believes the package contains a prohibited item.
- Illegal drugs, firearms, ammunition, or explosives.
- Hazardous chemicals or highly flammable materials.
- Stolen property or items prohibited by applicable law.
- Items presenting an unreasonable safety risk.
- Perishable, biological, medical, or hazardous materials requiring conditions DBSE has not confirmed.
- Cash or negotiable instruments unless expressly accepted.
- Any item listed in the Prohibited Items Policy.
7. Medical and Sensitive Deliveries
Customers must disclose special handling requirements before acceptance. Unless DBSE confirms otherwise in writing, customers should not assume that DBSE provides temperature-controlled transport, regulated medical transport, chain-of-custody services, hazardous-material transport, or a particular regulatory certification. Customers remain responsible for applicable packaging, labeling, and handling requirements.
8. Delivery Times
Delivery times are estimates unless expressly confirmed as a guaranteed service in writing. Traffic, weather, road conditions, recipient availability, incorrect addresses, access restrictions, emergencies, government restrictions, and other circumstances outside DBSE's reasonable control may affect timing. DBSE will communicate material delays where practical.
9. Recipients and Failed Deliveries
Customers are responsible for ensuring recipient availability and access. If a recipient is unavailable, an address is incorrect, access is unavailable, or a recipient refuses a package, DBSE may contact the customer, attempt redelivery, return the package, or arrange another reasonable solution. Additional charges may apply to redelivery or return services.
10. Delivery Confirmation
Where applicable, DBSE may record completion using a recipient name, delivery time, location, signature, electronic confirmation, or other reasonable proof of delivery. Customers should not assume that a particular proof-of-delivery method is available unless DBSE confirms it.
11. Fees, Payment, and Cancellation
Charges may depend on location, distance, urgency, package characteristics, waiting time, additional attempts, special handling, and other agreed services. Applicable charges will be communicated before or during confirmation where reasonably practicable. Customers may request cancellation before the courier commences service, but reasonable costs may apply after dispatch, travel, pickup commencement, or purchase of request-specific materials. The website does not represent that online card payment is available unless a payment gateway has been implemented.
12. Loss, Damage, and Liability
DBSE will take reasonable care when handling customer items. Customers should notify DBSE as soon as reasonably possible about loss, damage, or incorrect delivery and provide the delivery reference, date, item description, issue details, and supporting information where available. Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability or mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Final claims, insurance, and compensation provisions should be reviewed by TCI counsel before publication.
13. Force Majeure
DBSE is not responsible for delays or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including hurricanes, severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, government restrictions, civil emergencies, public disturbances, infrastructure or telecommunications failures, vehicle breakdowns, fuel shortages, and acts of third parties.
14. Third-Party Services and Intellectual Property
DBSE may use third-party providers for hosting, communications, email, analytics, mapping, payment processing, and other business functions. Their terms may also apply. Unless stated otherwise, the website, logo, brand identity, text, graphics, images, design, icons, software, and layout are owned by or licensed to DBSE and may not be reproduced or commercially exploited without permission.
15. Privacy and Changes
DBSE collects and uses personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. DBSE may update these Terms when its services, technology, or legal obligations change. Updated Terms will be published with a revised Last Updated date.
16. Governing Law and Consumer Rights
These Terms are interpreted in accordance with laws applicable in the State of Missouri, subject to mandatory consumer protections and legal requirements. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or waived.
