Prohibited Items Policy

Items DBSE Transportation cannot accept because they are unlawful, dangerous, hazardous, restricted, or unsuitable for ordinary delivery.

General Rule

Customers must not request DBSE Transportation to transport any item that is illegal, dangerous, hazardous, or otherwise prohibited by applicable law or DBSE policy. DBSE may inspect, refuse, stop, or return a delivery where it reasonably believes an item creates a legal or safety concern.

Examples of Prohibited or Restricted Items

  • Illegal drugs, firearms, ammunition, and explosives.
  • Hazardous chemicals, flammable materials, and dangerous goods.
  • Stolen property or items prohibited by applicable law.
  • Items presenting an unreasonable risk to a person, vehicle, or property.
  • Perishable, biological, medical, or temperature-sensitive materials without prior written confirmation.
  • Cash, negotiable instruments, or high-value items without express acceptance.
  • Any item that is inadequately packaged or not properly disclosed.

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for accurate descriptions, lawful ownership, safe packaging, and disclosure of handling, labeling, or regulatory requirements. A customer may be responsible for costs, loss, damage, delay, or legal consequences arising from an undisclosed or prohibited item.
